This is a living room in a house of a local genealogist in Lafayette, Louisiana. The room is newly refurbished and she prefers the traditional style and blue is her favorite color. She will hold a party with some fellow researchers.

This is a living room in a photographer's beach house in Jacksonville, Florida. The owner prefers the coastal style because wants to bring the light, breezy vibe of the seascapes indoors.
Blue is the common color people capture from the sea. Sprinkle of the color of blue is like the inviting aroma of the beach. I have few items in that color shades nicely pair with some white and brown, also colors commonly seen at the beach. A cozy place to enjoy the rhythm of the sea waves hit the sand and the rocks at the beach. Listen, it is so stress relieving.
