NYC Brownstone: My First Design In The Game

Background
This is an introduction design for Story And Details section. This is my first design for this fun game application after I am active again this March 2020 (I have joined since March 2018). I was attracted to join the game at first because one of my hobby is drawing sketch of interior designs. I love drawing and this is one of the type of drawings I usually made. I usually used paper, pen and coloring sets. The application make me enjoy my hobby more easier.

Basic Ideas
The character of my designs is usually simple and almost all my designs in this game show how I like natural colors like black, white, brown, gray and their shades. I use items that is affordable according to money and diamonds that I earn from the game's reward. I try as hard as possible not to buy using real money because I challenge myself to do so, to enjoy the game and not to spend irrationally. I highly appreciate hard-work. It makes us smarter to control the budget beside more skillful in arranging the items we have into beautiful compositions though we are having limited options.

Capital
I complete almost all challenges in the game, especially when they are affordable based on my money in the game and diamonds I have, and of course the inventory of items I have collected so far. The challenges gives money, diamonds, keys and even special prizes which are needed to continue enjoying the game.

Recently, I complete special offers to download other apps and complete the requiring tasks to get some diamonds. Diamonds can be used to buy money and keys. Diamonds and keys are used to get items. Till now, I get expensive items only from prizes and rewards.

The Items
The items in the application especially furniture are real and can be bought through their official websites. This makes my designs more real and can be inspirations for others or my blog visitors for their homes. They can apply the designs in real life. The location and scenery are also based on real world.

The decorations mostly are the design in game but some do exists in real store such as in the category of specialty decors. The items in the apps are the 3D images of real items. I rarely used decors because of two main reasons, they are expensive and some only available in limited time and occasions and I am not able to reach the requirements or they are beyond my budget. Sometimes because I am not into the colors or the characters. Sometimes also because the background of the design such as the floor, the wall, etc. are quite sophisticated and unique so that I want to show them more than cover them with decorations.

Title
The themes are provided by the application and additional information on the title is based on what I create in the design. Sometimes it related to the themes but mostly I use my own preference, just fulfill the minimum requirements in each themes. Sometimes I use metaphors but sometimes I use real items characteristics as the title additional information.

Descriptions
The descriptions I use, I hope can give new insights to readers about the items. Help them see the other side of beauty of simple items and care for minimalist designs. I prefer spacious and minimum decorations. The same tone, inside a color shades, or even all different items are the most preferable to me.

I sometimes uses an imaginary common intimate situations, relates to memorable occasions or moments, meanings of symbols and even objective and subjective opinions on the items.

Story And Details
This category contains more detail information about the items, my opinions and reasons of choosing the items.

The content is meant to give more information that might be needed by readers to make the better decisions of items for their places.

Background Story
NYC is known as one of the most expensive cities in the world. So, most of the items used in this design are quite expensive. Only one stone item - I have the Cornflower Hourglass Blue White Inlaid Shell Stool Side Table by Kathy Kuo Home - is required to be qualified, related to the brownstone theme.

I prefer no rug because of the wooden floor. I love wooden materials or wooden motif. I want to expose it. Only the stone item has the most salient features, its motif and colors. I still choose items with my color preference, the tone of nature - brown and grey. Black and white have been present in the background. Brown also present in the background, even in its natural form, wood. Wooden floor, white wall, black frames, glasses, and a little decors with fiddle leaf fig in the pot and painting of ocean feature, are just inside my color preference.

It is priced at $1,194 (Price is varies depends on each stores). The table featuring a sleek, antique gold finish steel frame and 10mm clear glass top and shelf.

Normally, for a quite expensive item, it is in my inventory, probably as a prize or reward. I choose this item because I like the effect of glass, elegant and spacious. Glass also often strengthen the uniqueness of the other components around it. With gold finish steel frame, it helps brighten the room.

It is priced at $801. This item nicely combines classic and coastal with floral and festive. It is handcrafted and made of blue cast stone with scallop shell mosaic. The hourglass shape is an unexpected design for a side table or nightstand. This side table can also be used as a stylish stool in a sun-room or beach cottage.

I have this in my collection. It meets the requirement for the theme. The color and style just okay with the background and the features of other items. It even becomes the center of attraction in the room.

DWR - Nelson Lantern Lamp With Stand
Dimensions: 11" x 7'6" x 12,5"

It is priced at $301. It is a traditional lantern-shaped shade set on a steel tripod. It emits warm, diffused light. This timeless Nelson Bubble Lamps was originally designed in 1952. It is a beautiful complement contemporary interior as in the mid century homes.

This is the most expensive item in the room. I like the motif. The color composition of the wood pieces is fresh for such pale and dark colors. White gives a lively effect. It is like there is a little fun on the corner.

Noir - Budha Chair
Dimensions: 24,5" x 25" x 35,5"

It is priced at $1,188. The sofa combines old-world style with new-world elegance, bringing luxury to any space with its solid wood frame and silver nail head stud trim. I pick the grayish-brown. one It is a transitional mid-century modern sofa. It is made of solid wood frame, hypoallergenic fabrics, and foam cushioning.

Its color and style make it a nice choice for a contemporary living room. A style for a room in a busy and high-cost living city. The materials are safe and cozy. The shades of grey color is one of a safe choice for one of the main component of the room. This made it suitable for mix and match with any color or shape of other complements for a contemporary living room.
